We begin the class with a warm-up that includes exercises specific to grappling, such as shrimping, bridging and rolling to prepare the body for the movements required in practice, after warming up the instructor demonstrates a series of techniques wich can range from basic positions and escapes to more complex submissions and transitions. Students then pair up to drill the techniques, practicing them repeatedly to develop muscle memory and understand the mechanics.
